A Cup of Cold Water (ACOCW) is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit organization founded in 2020 by American missionary to Haiti, Caleb Michael, who currently serves as our International Director. We are primarily based in Eastern North Carolina, and are partnered with and endorsed by ministries of all sizes and denominations around the world.
We are an international Christian missions organization, called and focused on seeing lives transformed abroad. While we also raise awareness, teach classes, and host outreach and evangelism events in the United States, our primary role is to serve as a missionary arm of the church in America.
ACOCW is structured for future expansion into other countries; however, our mission is currently centered on the people of Haiti.
Haiti is a very small country just over an hour from the United States, with a population less than the average U.S. state. Despite its proximity, it remains the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. We believe that the church in even a single U.S. county, if truly united and committed, could transform the church in Haiti and, in turn, help change the trajectory of the entire nation.
Our vision is not to just be a ministry, but to be a part of a Christ-centered movement. We seek to unite with ministries and individuals worldwide who feel called to take up the cause with us. Together, we are putting boots on the ground, and fighting for the forgotten, worldwide.
