Haiti Mission Trip - Fall 2025

Haiti Mission Trip - Fall 2025

"Throughout this mission trip, it became clear that we were witnessing the early shoots of revival beginning to break through the ground. Everywhere we went—whether serving, praying, or simply being present with those in need—we saw unmistakable evidence of God moving."

One of the most impactful moments of the entire trip occurred during our team's visit to a local hospital. In Haiti, patients must pay up front for essential supplies—medicine, fluids, bandages, food, and even infant formula. Without this income, hospitals cannot remain operational. As a result, countless families face a heartbreaking reality: infants and young children in intensive care are nearing the cutoff point for their milk supply simply because their parents have no more money. The money needed is just so minimal, a trip to McDonald's in America can be the difference for some of these parents and patients. When you see this reality face-to-face, there is a deep impact that each missionary feels.

One last story is from when we were on our way to a small, very secluded, hard to reach village that also had a school in session for their first day of the year. We were going to distribute care packages that included rice as well as family packs of region specific seeds for their gardens. Along the way, there was one last particularly deep mud hole, and we got stuck. Little did we know that this seemingly bad event would lead to the best day of the trip.

Local passersby began to gather and assist us, trying to get the last few feet out of the hole. When the word reached the school that we were stuck, the whole school of kids and teachers set out on foot to reach us. They had to cross a shallow river, and when they arrived, each one of the children was carrying a large rock in each hand to put under the tires in the hopes of giving us enough traction to get out.

Everybody went to work, some in their best first day of school outfits, working side by side with some of us missionaries. More people continued to arrive from the village and the surrounding area until a large crowd had gathered. After realizing we were not getting out anytime soon, we began our distribution and handed out everything we had to the students and others present.

After it was all gone, something shocking happened. Knowing we had nothing left to give, and after they had already received everything they possibly could from us, the whole community did not leave. They began to work even harder to help. It was a moment that still brings tears to my eyes to this day. The ones we had worked so hard to come to their aid ended up coming to ours.

In every way, this mission reminded us: Jesus is moving, lives are being transformed, and the seeds of revival are already taking root.

There are so many stories and testimonies. Find us on youtube (A Cup of Cold Water - For Haiti) and follow along as more videos get released in the coming weeks.

It's unthinkable what God can do with nothing besides an open door into a situation or a person's life as we all strive to become His hands and His feet here on earth.
